Getting to Sa Vall by car

The Sa Vall estate in Son Macià is located in the east of Majorca, some 50 km away from Palma, in a sunny area that boasts famous virgin coves along the coast, thousand-year-old caves and small farming villages. To get there from the Son Sant Joan Airport (in Palma), take the motorway towards Santanyí, and exit at the Manacor junction, following the signs towards Manacor. Along the way, you will pass through the towns of Algaida, Montuïri and Vilafranca, before you finally reach Manacor. Once you have arrived in Manacor, follow the signs towards Felanitx. Cross through the town on a long avenue, until you reach a small roundabout, roughly half way up the hill. Take the Felanitx  highway out of town. Continue along the Felanitx highway some 4 km until you come to the Son Macià road sign, on the left. Continue approximately 3 km along this winding narrow road through the rolling hills, and just before you arrive at the entrance sign to Son Macià, there will be a “Sa Vall” sign on the  right, which will lead you to the estate. If you come in February, you will be greeted by the blooming almond groves. If not, and regardless of when you come, the Pasqual-Duran family will be there to welcome you with the warm smiles and hospitality that Sa Vall has always been known for.

Getting to Sa Vall by train

From the Son Sant Joan Airport, take the bus into Palma and get off at the Plaça d’Espanya stop. You will see the Station Park (Parc de les Estacions, in Catalan) just at the edge of the roundabout. It is here where you will find the train that will take you to Manacor. Call us once you arrive in Manacor, and we will be delighted to come pick you up and take you to Sa Vall, which is only 6 km away. Schedule of trains running between Palma, Inca and Manacor: http://www.tib.org/portal/web/ctm/inici
